OWR Service Opportunity
The Foster Alumni of the Scholar House 3 program are working hard to build better futures for themselves by attending college classes and working part-time or full-time. But, food insecurity remains a major challenge for these young adults. That’s why the OWR Foster to Adult program is organizing a Food Drive in February to Stock the Pantry at the Scholar House 3 apartment building.

Can I sign up to bring items more than once?
Yes, you are free to arrange as many drop off as you like before February 20th.
Where do I drop off pantry items?
Drop-offs are arranged between you and our amazing team. Drop off is commonly worked out to the convenience of your availability and the availability of a team member either at the office or a local Cohatch during drop off days. Email lindsay@orphanworldrelief.org to schedule a drop-off.
What do I shop for?
Click on the “Download the Shopping List” button to view a complete list of the resident preferred grocery items.
What if I don't have time to shop?
We know life gets busy. We have a team ready to shop on your behalf for the pantry. Simply click the “Shop for me” button below and we’ll do the shopping.
Why is stuffing the pantry important?
These young adults have been qualified for the Scholar House 3 program because of their commitment to building a better future for themselves and future families. Adulting is hard for all of us, but imagine have an unstable support system and trying to build a better future, it get much harder. Having ready access to nutritious food makes a huge difference in setting them up for success.
